updates

Our photographer friend, Catherine, took this picture!  This is only one out of 25 pictures.  They are posted on Akari's facebook.  Mana is already 2 weeks old.  She grew out of new born size diapers.  She nurses every 3-4 hours, instead of 2-3 hours.  She sleeps better at night.  We thought having a girl in our home would calm our boys down a bit, but they got more excited after she arrived.  They always fight over who get to hold her.  We are so glad that all of the boys are so sweet to her.  


Right now, Grandpa and Grammy are visiting with us.  We are having great time with them.  Today we heard about their trip to Virgin Islands.  The boys were fascinated about snorkeling  and seeing sea animals and fish under water.  Benjamin and Daniel tried to snorkel in the bathtub this evening.  (We don't have real fish, so we put toy fish in the tub)  We really want to take our children for snorkeling sometime, someday, somehow...

This is a side note, but Ben got Benjamin and Daniel new running shoes.  They are very excited about wearing "running shoes."  They asked Ben to take them to his morning work out on Saturday.  So they all woke up bright early in the morning and they went for 3.5 miles run!  They want to go again soon.

友達で、フォトグラファーのキャサリンにこの写真をとってもらいました！　これ、25枚あるうちのひとつで、他のは私のフェイスブックに載っています。まなちゃん、もう生まれて二週間たちました。新生児用のオムツはもう小さくなったので、大きくなってるみたいです。授乳も2－3時間おきだったのが３－４時間おきになって、こっちにもちょっとゆとりがでてきました。夜も前よりはよく寝てます。
女の子が生まれたらうちの男の子たち、ちょっとは落ち着くかなあとおもっていましたが、余計に興奮してます。いつも誰がまなちゃんをだっこするかでけんかになっています。でも、みんなまなちゃんにはとても優しいので、よかったなとおもいます。

ところでいま、アメリカのおじいちゃん、おばあちゃんが遊びにきています。とっても楽しい時間を過ごしてます。今日は彼らのバージンアイランドへの旅の話を聞きました。中でも、スノーケルをして魚やいろんなものをみたというのに、子供たちは感動して、ベンジャミンとダニエルは今日お風呂でスノーケルをやっていました。ちゃんと、おもちゃのお魚をお湯にいれて。。。いつかは、スノーケルに連れて行ってあげたいなーとおもいました。

これは余談ですが、つい最近ベンジャミンとダニエルは新しいスニーカーを買ってもらいました。これはランニング用のです。二人ともとってもよろこんで、土曜日の朝にはベンと一緒に走りに行ってきました。なんと6キロちかくの距離をがんばって走ったそうです。ベンジャミンとダニエル、また行きたいみたいで、 よくベンにねだっています。
