Benjamin turned six last week! He was very excited and proud of being 6. He is getting to be more responsible and helping out his younger brothers. Ben took a day off for Benjamin's b-day. Ben and I chose a punching & kicking pad(for TaeKwon Do) for Benjamin's b-day present. Benjamin and the other boys love this! They always line up and kick and punch everyday. We had Benjamin's favorite, curry & rice, for dinner. The cake was jello cake. I could only find yellow cake mix (I usually use white cake mix) and orange jello in my cabinet, but they matched really well.
先週ベンジャミンは6歳になりました。六歳になるので、とっても楽しみに、また誇りに思ってるベンジャミンです。だんだん成長してきて、よく弟たちを助けてくれるようになって、ほんとに頼りになります。
ベンはベンジャミンの誕生日に仕事をお休みとって、一日中家族で過ごせました。ベンジャミンの誕生日プレゼントに、テコンドーに使うパンチとキックのパッドを買ってあげました。パンチングパッグみたいなのではなく、手に持ってつかうのです。子供たちはみんなそれが気に入って、まいにちのようにキックとパンチの練習をしています。その日の夜は、ベンジャミンの大好物のカレーをたべ、またケーキはゼリーの入ったケーキ。戸棚の中に、ケーキミックスと、オレンジゼリーの粉があったのでそれを混ぜてつくりました。初めての組み合わせだったけど、おいしかったです。
