picninc at a park

On Sunday after church, we met up with Grammy, Uncle Jesse, and Cousin Anthony and went to picnic.

We went to this park where Ben and Jesse used to play growing up.  It was more than a decade(or two) ago since Ben was there last time.  Jesse said that they got rid of old play ground and put new and "safe" one(he meant "they took all the fun ones out").  It was a very nice park, and boys loved playing there.  They also enjoyed shooting up toy that Uncle Jesse gave to them.  After playing for a while, we decided to go for a walk.  There was a flower garden close by.  It was a very nice walk.  We even took a group picture there, where somebody is going to have a wedding there soon after.  

日曜日、教会の後にグランマとジェシーおじちゃん、そしていとこのアンソニー君と一緒に公園でピクニックをしました。この公園、ベンとジェシーがまだ少年のときに（こんな書き方をすると年寄りのような感じがします、でも彼ら二人ともまだ少年っぽいところがあると思います。）よく来て遊んでいた公園だそうです。もうとっくに２０年以上も前のことですが、遊具とかはもちろんすっかり"安全”なものに替わっていたみたいです。ジェシーいわく、"安全すぎておもしろくない”らしいですが。子供たちは、楽しんで遊んでいました。また、ジェシーにもらったタケコプターみたいなおもちゃを空に飛ばして楽しんでました。そこでしばらく遊んだ後、すぐ同じ敷地内にあるガーデンに散歩しにいきました。ここで結婚式がその日に挙げられるらしく、いろいろ準備されているところにはいっていってグループ写真をちゃっかりとってきました。

 

By the way, while we were in Reno, the boys always argued who get to ride with Uncle Jesse in his Jeep.

He has a very nice Jeep, and they always wanted to ride on it.  It was such a privilege for them to be able to ride on Uncle Jesse's Jeep.

ところで、リノに滞在中、子供たちはいつも誰がジェシーおじちゃんのジープにのせてもらえるかで、言い争っていました。確かに、かっこいいジープです。これに乗せてもらえるのがすっごいうれしかったみたいです。
