a strange event

The other day, we got a package from a stranger. The sender's name was Dominique, from
RI. We were very confused. When we opened the box, there were snacks and VHS from my mother in Japan! Now we were very puzzled.

Then today, we got a letter from "Dominique". She/he said, in the letter, that she/he got a package from her/his daughters in Italy. In the box, there was a package from Japan also!
So that's how we found out why Dominique had my stuff. Either way, it was very kind of her/him to send this back to me, so I am writing thank you card with the shipping money.

It's so strange how this happened, but things like this make the life much more funner and interesting.

ついこの間、見知らぬひとから小包が届きました。送り主はドミニクさん、ロードアイランド州からでした。なんだろうなあとおもってあけてみると、なかには日本にいるうちのお母さんからの小包が入っていました。ますます、わけが分からなくなりました。

そして今日、そのドミニクさんから手紙が届きました。それには、イタリアにいる娘さんたちが、ドミニクさんに小包をおくったのですが、なんとそのなかにうちの母の小包も一緒に混ざっていたみたいです。
それで、どうしてドミニクさんが私の小包をもっていたのかなぞが解けました。それにしても、ドミニクさんはとっても親切に私のところまで送り届けてくださったので、お礼の手紙を送料に添えて送りました。

とっても不思議な出来事ですが、こういうことがあると、人生もおもしろいなあと思います。
