ICE HOCKEY

This weekend, we went to Atlanta to see ice hockey.
On Friday afternoon, right after Ben got home from work, we decided to go. We wanted to just go see the minor league here in Augusta, but we found out that they were no longer playing. We don't know why we wanted to see hockey game so much that we left in a few hours to see the game-.
The drive was not so fun because we could not play movies in the car. The boys were so bored, and they just wanted to eat snack the whole time.
We finally got there 5 minutes before the game and we still had to line up to get tickets. (No, we did not have tickets before we left. we were just hoping that we would get tickets there !)
There were so many people lined up and we were worried that we might not.
But we did!
We got seats upstairs. We were little scared to be up there, because the stairs were too steep! i was afraid of falling into the ice. wonder how many people fell before.... Anyways, it was fun to enjoy the atmosphere of going crazy when our team made goals.
Benjamin was ready to leave after an hour. He said that he didn't want to just sit there and watch(which we understand him well). So Ben took him and Samuel for a walk. Samuel was fine as long as he could be with Daddy. He even went with Ben when he went to get food. I think Daniel enjoyed it most. He liked when the players crashed each other.
We left little after because (of course) kids were very tired. We don't even know if Atlanta thrashers won.. Does anybody? I guess we can find out online, but we may not do that because they were winning when we left. we hope they won.

We stayed at a military lodging. we were so surprised that our kids were so excited and didn't go to sleep until midnight.

we are glad to be home now. it was fun to do something crazy like this. let's do this again, Ben!
