baby shower

 

Today, my Japanese friends threw me and the other person that having a baby next month.  We have a good number of Japanese in town, and we formed a group and we get together sometimes.  They are all very very nice and it's very good have their support.  Anyways, I had a lot of fun.  Oh, another good thing about this group is "food".  Everyone always brings really good food!  Look at this CUTE diaper cake!  It's so pretty.  I almost don't want to destroy it, but I know that someday I will have to use those diapers.  Anyways, I am so grateful to all of my friends.

今日私の日本人のお友達がみんなで私と、あともうすぐ予定日のお友達とにベイビーシャワーをしてくださいました！ここには日本人の方もけっこういらして、皆でグループでたまに集まったりしています。皆さん、ほんとに優しい方たちばっかりで、彼女たちの支えにいつも感謝しています。ほんとに素敵なパーティーでした。あと、みなさんいつもすっごい美味しいお料理をもってきてくださいます。毎回すごいなあとおもいつつ、いっぱい食べています。今日は皆さんにとってもよくしていただきました。かわいいプレゼントもいっぱい。このオムツのケーキ、ほんとにかわいいです。壊したくないけれど、たぶんいずれオムツが足りなくなって使うはめになってしまうんだろうなー。ほんとに、今日は皆さんに感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
