Taekwondo

On Wednesday, Benjamin and Daniel also started learning Taekwondo!
Both of them are very excited! They say that they want to be stronger and beat daddy up and protect mommy from bad guys. They have way too much energy, so we think this will help them control that energy. At first, I wanted them to learn something Japanese, like Karate. But Karate is so expensive... Besides, Benjamin has a friend that goes to this Taekwondo school from our church. They told us that they has the deal of 50% off tuition for a year. So we signed our big boys up. They are going to learn some Korean, too. It will be a good opportunity for us to learn Korean culture. They look so good in the uniforms. I learned that under the uniform, they can only wear red, white and blue shirts. The uniform is not supposed to have wrinkles. It was their first lesson yesterday, and the master was surprised that Benjamin has good athletic talent, and that Daniel has great strength for his age. Anyways, we are all excited!

水曜日に、ベンジャミンとダニエルはテコンドーに通い始めました。二人ともとってもうれしそうです。
強くなって、パパをやっつけるんだとか、ママを守ってあげるとか言っています。二人ともエネルギーが有り余っているので、それをコントロールするのも学べていいのではないかと思います。
テコンドーは韓国の武術で、ほんとは日本の文化を受け継ぐというので空手をならわせたいと当初は思っていました。でも、空手って高いんですよねー。あと、教会のベンジャミンのお友達がこの教室に通っていて、あと月謝が一年間半額というのにもひかれて、ここに決めました。数えたりするのも韓国語で習うので、韓国の文化を学ぶよい機会になるかなとおもいます。二人は初日でしたが、先生、ベンジャミンの運動能力に感心していました。あと、ダニエルも4歳にしてはパンチもキックも力が強いので驚いていたみたいです。二人とも、ユニフォームが似合ってます！かっこいいなあ。この上着の下は、赤、しろ、青のどれかしかきちゃいけないそうです。あと、しわがあっちゃいけないみたいです。けっこう厳しいなあ。
